This course provides an in-depth look at the causes of erroneous lactation information online, as well as strategies for crafting and communicating your own accurate messages that will stick with your audience better and longer than the misinformation they read. The Instructors are Amber McCann IBCLC and Jeanette McCulloch IBCLC.

McCann, who has served in private practice and at the Breastfeeding Center of PIttsburgh, now specializes in connecting with families on social media and teaching others in the profession to do the same. McCulloch is the co-founder of BirthSwell, a communications company providing communications consulting services to local, statewide, national, and international birth and breastfeeding organizations. She has published research and presented at national conferences on reaching millennial parents online.
