Tecpaxochitl (Tec/pa/sho/chi) Mireya Gonzalez (she/they) is a Perinatal Health Equity Leader, Digital Advocacy Specialist, Creator of Ancestral Lactation™, and Founder of Chichihualtia, an Indigenous controlled grassroots nonprofit organization committed to improving perinatal and planetary health through family wellness initiatives. Tecpaxochitl centers the diverse experiences and intersections of human lactation as she teachesAncestral Lactation™ through culturally affirming frameworks and uplifts chest/breastfeeding as a sacred first-food, disruptor of intergenerational trauma, and facilitator of lineage-healing and ecological resilience.
