Some of the material in this course is currently being updated, and therefore may still contain highly gendered or exclusive language and images. We apologize for any harm this may cause. We thought it important to let you know that we are working on this, and to share a few of our core values that relate to inclusion.

  • We believe that every baby deserves human milk.
  • We believe that every nursing parent deserves an empowering lactation experience.
  • We believe it is our responsibility to apply evidence-based, relevant, and inclusive education techniques to train aspiring lactation consultants.
  • We are committed to inclusion, diversity, and equity among nursing parents, our students, our staff, and instructors.

Thank you for your grace and pardon our dust as we work to better represent those values.
