IBLCE College Courses Requirement

IBLCE College Courses Requirement

The International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) requires individuals who are not listed as an IBLCE Recognized Health Care provider to have completed 14 post-secondary courses to be eligible to sit the IBCLC exam. Those classes must be from an accredited institution of higher learning.

LER has partnered with Walden University to provide options for completing the college course requirements:

Walden University

College credits are available from Walden University when you enroll in:
  • 95+ hour Lactation Consultant Training Program Enriched (6 Credits)
  • Core Lactation Consultant Course (3 Credits)
  • Lactation Consultant Bridge Course (3 Credits)
